This page explains what happens to your data if you sign up for updates at ontheruck.com ("RUCK Coffee"). We keep this simple: we only collect what's needed to keep you in the loop, and nothing else.
RUCK Coffee is currently an independent project run by Alejandro Gonzalez. For any privacy question or request, contact:
Just your email address, when you voluntarily submit it through the "Stay in the loop" form on the site. We don't collect names, payment details, or any other personal information at this stage.
Your email is used to send you updates about RUCK Coffee — including our launch, product news, and occasional offers. We only do this because you asked to be notified; the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Your email is stored in a Google Sheet via Google Apps Script, so Google processes this data on our behalf as a data processor. The site itself is hosted on Vercel, which also provides our cookie-free visitor analytics and may process basic technical/server log data (like IP address) as part of normal web hosting — none of this is linked to your email or used for marketing.
We don't sell or share your email with any other third party.
This site does not use cookies or advertising trackers. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregate visitor counts (like how many people visited, and from which country/page) — this doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally.
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
To unsubscribe or exercise any of these rights, just email hello@ontheruck.com and we'll take care of it.
If this policy changes — for example once RUCK Coffee becomes a registered company — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
